About Dr. Brown

What is a resident?

Dr. Brown is a third-year dermatology resident at Campbell University – Sampson Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama and attended medical school at the Georgia Campus of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Georgia. Dr. Brown completed an Internal Medicine residency with a concentration in hospital medicine from Louisiana State University – New Orleans Health Sciences Center in 2016. She practiced as an internal medicine hospitalist at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans, Louisiana before beginning her dermatology residency here in Wilmington, NC in 2017. During her dermatology training, Dr. Brown has developed an interest in both medical and procedural dermatology with a passion for skin cancer prevention and treatment and cosmetic dermatology. She is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to every patient. Outside of dermatology, she enjoys leisurely jogging, watching college football, traveling, enjoying good food with family and friends, and spending time with her two Yorkshire Terriers, Cha-Cha and Macie.
